Was reading L'Engle's second book of her Crosswicks' series. At the bit where she writes about how someone confesses to her that he has a heart murmur, the blissful thought came to me: perhaps we are all here just to be happy and have fun. Amidst the answer, to enjoy God and His creation, perhaps we really are suppose to delight in pure joy of having fun. What is the purpose of life? I imagine a child, playing with toys. Perhaps adults are no different in that...we just play with different sorts of toys. Just like a child has perferences in which toy s/he likes to play with, we do too. Then perhaps I believe God is the Creator and He wants us to be glad, then to be truly glad is to truly know and do what is good for us. And perhaps then, to know and experience God is to be truly blissfully happy. As a human being.
And that, was my What's The Meaning of Life? pondering for today.
