Year 2
I've been trying to write the essay for the one scholarship application available (I hope I am wrong here) from my school for second year funding. Never been so hard, perhaps it's because I haven't written anything persuasive or essay-ish in a very long time. But it is so so very hard to write anything good, let alone brilliant, about something I dislike and have a thousand and one things to talk about to change. How to impress, how to say I learned something of use to the school? How to smile about it, how to say I loved it? In adversity I grow, how to write this?
School starts next week already. Part of me is afraid of what's to come, anticipating frustration and barriers. Yet, there's also another part of me that says, psh, that's dumb, it's just school, it's like that.
